As we undergo an exciting period of change that will reshape the way we deliver our services to people in crisis, we have an exciting opportunity for a well-organised service delivery coordinator who can play a key role in the organisation and delivery of our ambulance support service.

You will be joining a dynamic team, which organises ambulance support for a variety of events across the UK, ensuring that people who need our help get the best possible service.

To ensure the smooth running of the service, your duties will include:

  • Receiving and processing bookings and requests for ambulance support;
  • Allocating staff/volunteers and appropriate resources to ensure we meet the requirements of ambulance support contracts;
  • Ensuring that operational resource allocation is consistent with legislative and regulatory compliance and BRC policies and procedures;
  • Supporting the service delivery manager in the day-to-day management, supervision, recruitment and appraisals of ambulance support staff/volunteers;
  • Generating information and reports to support the management of ambulance support activities.

To be successful in this role you will need the ability cope with a varied workload, a good understanding of ambulance support and service delivery requirements.
