Four staff from Chelmsford and Braintree stations gave a talk to 60 year three children at Newlands Spring Primary School in Chelmsford.
Laura Szpurko said: "We talked about how and when to call an ambulance, showed them the recovery position and also went through some basic first aid including how to put on a sling and a bandage. "We also took an ambulance with us so the children got to see inside it and were shown some of the equipment - and of course the lights and sirens. "The children had a great time and we even received thank you letters from them."
