Community first responders' recruitment day a success

Welwyn and Hatfield community first responders gave up their free time recently to promote their role within the community.
On Saturday, November 27, CFRs Gemma Cannon Jones, Lynda Spencer and Ian Sparks were on hand to meet the public alongside community partnership training
officer Simon Marshall at the Galleria shopping centre in Hatfield.
Throughout the day, the team gave several demonstrations to children and their parents about basic life support techniques. Simon Marshall said: "I am delighted with the CFRs working together to raise the awareness of the good work they do in the local community. The day went extremely well and several members of the
public took away information about EEAST foundation trust status."
