The new Donway OS Lite weighs in at just at 4.3kg - making it ideal for SAR and HEMS use and yet still has a load capacity of 250kg.
Ian Bonthrone, Air Rescue Systems SAR Director said “Weight is always an issue on Modern SAR Helicopters and where SAR Crew are working single handed away from the Helicopter; we chose the Donway OS Lite because of its lightness but also the strength of the Carbon Fibre construction.".
Air Rescue Systems is partnered with British International Helicopters and AAR Airlift as ’Team AAR’ to deliver Search and Rescue cover for the UK MoD in the Falkland Islands from 31 Mar 2016.
