NWAS launch new careers website

Last week North West Ambulance Service launched a brand new careers website for recruitment across the trust. The new website aims to attract prospective employees to explain the full range of benefits working for NWAS offers and how some of the opportunities available cannot be found at other trusts. It also provides information on internal vacancies and development opportunities for current staff.
Key Features
Roles - The site features an introductory selection of roles for launch; these include 3 from 111 services, paramedic and senior paramedic roles and others. As the site matures, additional roles will be added, including voluntary positions.
Live - The living in the North West section gives reasoning about why the North West is a great place to live, details about the different counties and advice for those relocating to the area.
Develop - The develop section provides information on how we develop our staff, setting us apart from other Trusts. This section provides specific information on some of the courses and opportunities we can offer.
Benefits - The benefits provides information on some of the benefits staff can enjoy by being employed by the NHS and more specifically, NWAS. This includes information on pay and pensions, as well as staff discounts and offers.
Apply - The apply page gives specific advice for those wanting to apply for a role at NWAS and details of what to expect when applying. It also gives advice on how to build a strong application and what we look for in prospective recruits.
Staff profiles - The site also features a number of quotes and case studies from people who work within the Trust, this gives real life examples about what it’s like to work for NWAS and gives the viewer a greater understanding of what duties different roles have. Again, this will be added to as time goes on, featuring more individuals.
